Anti-Zionists blame CNN in L.A.. for bias in under-reporting Hamas' manipulated news

Anti-Zionist activist group, ANSWER organized another pro-Hamas / anti-Israel rally within a month of the march they held between the Federal Building and the Israeli Consulate in L.A.  They marched a few blocks in Hollywood to stage a protest outside the CNN building which obstructed traffic on Sunset Boulevard for several hours.

The rally was held on the 9th anniversary of Israel de-occupying Gaza- a withdrawal to enable the Palestinians to demonstrate the safety their desired sovereign state would assure the beseiged Jewish state.  The Gazans destroyed the commercial agriculture which Israel gifted them- and moved rocket-launchers to fire more than 11,000 rockets from a closer proximity to Israeli population centers. Since 2001, Palestinians have fired more than 15,000 rockets and mortars indiscriminately against Israel.

Rally-attendees interviewed revealed such unawareness of Islamist Hamas' published mission statement (to decimate the Jews "from the River to the Sea" and conquer the Jewish state as an Islamist Palestine) or Hamas' uncovered battle plan to maximize civilian Palestinian casualties by provoking Israeli retaliation against mosques, schools, and other civilian centers.  



 Omar Rashput ("The Prince of Pop") led the anti-Israel marchers for press photographers costumed as Michael Jackson. We inquired what authority he has to identify Michael Jackson as anti-Israel or pro-Palestine.



CNN moved Wolf Blitzer to Israel for 2-weeks to augment their broadcasting (under duress) from Gaza. From both locations, CNN gave extensive voice to Palestinian news, newsmakers, and spokespeople, but apparently, for the anti-Zionist ralliers dismayed by hearing an objective, balanced perspective on events (or not liking to see the casualties Hamas evoked) the demonstrators at the rally blamed CNN and Israel, but not Hamas.  

This rally co-organizer dressed herself, her daughters and other children in bloody make-up and costumes to malign Israel, not Hamas, which they excused.

Children of a Palestinian-American father claim that CNN "lies" and that the news they hear from relatives is more accurate than that depicted on CNN.  

But prize-winning Israeli blogger, Elder of Ziyon reports that Ms. Donatella Rovera, who conducted research for Amnesty Int'l ,explained why "eyewitnesses" will often claim that there was no terrorist activity in the area of an airstrike and Israel wantonly and indiscriminately killed people for no reason. ... It is part of their culture to ensure that Israel is always blamed no matter what. It saturates their media. I cannot count how many times "eyewitness" accounts were found to be complete fiction, and fear didn't enter into the equation. However, many of the "witnesses" happen to work for the largest employer in the West Bank - the PA - which lies constantly.




 Similarly, people we interviewed bemoaned Palestinian losses, but justified Hamas' role in provocatively rocketing Israel for over a decade as a "resistance movement."
 


This Thai gentleman (who disguised himself in an Thai anti-government mask (of Salvador Dali) would not acknowledge familiarity with the global jihad (of which Hamas and Palestine are the Israeli front to) even though (according to ZombieTime, with gruesome photographic evidence) 

Muslim separatists in the southern-most portion of the country have been committing a seemingly unending series of terror attacks on Thai Buddhists, on other Muslims (apparently as punishment for not supporting the violence) and on the Thai police and military. This has been going on at least since 2004, and most likely much longer (though unseen by the outside world). The goal of the terrorists is to create a Muslim-controlled independent state ruled by Islamic law.

Interview subjects, like this lawyer and rally co-organizer, called CNN's coverage of the Gaza conflict "biased," even though they couldn't provide specific evidence.




Though the anti-Zionist rally had clear anti-Semitic blood-libel tones, no L.A. pro-Israel or Jewish organization presented any objection or counter against the march and rally.

Californians challenge Hamas-rallyers attempting to project Islamist ethics onto Israel

Anti-Israel, Islamo-Marxists obtained a permit to march from the L.A. Federal Building near UCLA to the Israeli Consulate on Sunday August 10th.  In the absence of any advocacy organizational counter-protest for this weekend, Amy Hunter, overcame her inexperience by organizing a large pro-Israel rally at Los Angeles' Federal Building.  

The vociferous Arabs were surprised to see a formidable, Zionist crowd, thanks to the promotion of the Israeli-American Council. Individuals brought their own megaphones and led the crowd in rants and songs, which stood their own against the thunderous, unified chants of the anti-Zionists.

She alleges that he knocked-her up and paid for her to abort the fetus. Ms. Shirazi appeared on the Talk Sport radio show. Some people do not believe her claim that George Galloway had pictures of Saddam Hussein in his house. George Galloway actually conducted an interview in his own home in the early-1990s. The footage from that interview shows that his house was decked out with images of the infamous dictator. This corroborates her story further.

Pro-Palestine / anti-Israel rally at Israeli Consulate to L.A. reveals a bonfire of dogmas- original, DemoCast documentary coverage

Outside of the Israeli Consulate in L.A on Thurs 15 Nov, Islamist & far-leftist anti-Zionist groups (led by American Muslims for Palestine) staged a vitriolic protest to Israel's attempt to stop incessant Palestinian terrorist rocketing. The protest (which drew reporters from all local TV stations) drew not one  organized, funded pro-Zionst group to counter-rally in Israel's defense.



Rabbi Moshe Parry, leading fewer than half-a-dozen individual Jews in the absence of organized pro-Zionist organizations, stepped-up to challenge the protestors and provide a Zionist perspective to the media.

But the Muslim protestors we interviewed reveal an agenda which goes far beyond just ending the missile defense or a state in Gaza and the West Bank - their goal to conquer the State of Israel. Rabbi Parry states that Jews will never be safe alongside an irredentist movement following a conflicting religious dogma to conquer the state from the Jewish guardianship entrusted to the Jews in the Holy Bible.

No charges were filed against the students.

In an open letter published in the UCI student newspaper New University Mon 8 March, Amb. Oren has offered to fly to meet the students who interrupted him as long as the tone stayed civil. Here is an excerpt:

I was saddened by the loss of this opportunity to exchange ideas with those who disagreed with me and, at the very least, to introduce them to different perspectives.

Since then, videos of the incident at Irvine have proliferated on the Internet and attracted significant media attention. I have received heartfelt apologies from UC President Mark Yudof and Chancellor Drake. The response has been overwhelmingly favorable in defense of my right to free expression on campus and the students’ right to hear those remarks.

Still, I am not satisfied. I came to UCI for the opportunity to exchange ideas — a reasonable intention that was hijacked by a minority of students. The disruptive measures exhibited by these students only underscore the importance for dialogue, especially on the frontline of higher learning. I would willingly return to your campus and meet with those individuals whose views may not agree with mine as long as we respect the decorum of dialogue and free speech.

CBS and CNN online news editors downplay Israel's role in reporters' stories

Though CBS' Dr. Jennifer Ashton and CNN's Dr. Elizabeth Cohen's video news stories feature Israel's prominent M*A*S*H field hospital, you'd never know it by the omission of any reference to Israel or their field hospital in their story descriptions or blurbs. Why not? Because Israel doing a visibly humanitarian act contradicts their vilified casting of the country, culture, Army, and ethics?
The web editor does their best to marginalize Israel's role in the print story:

Also Monday, a local community hospital with three operating rooms re-opened and just three miles from the large and sophisticated field hospital set up by the Israeli military continues to treat patients and save lives.

Neither story mentions what the problem with America's field hospital is, or why the Israelis are being relied upon, but not recognized, for having to pick up U.S. slack.

In ABC News' Dr. Richard Besser's story, even though he features the Israeli Army field hospital as the saviours of his obstetric crisis, Israel is also omitted in the editors' description online. 3 TV networks news stories feature Israel favorably, 3 networks' websites omit it. Coincidence? Or journalistic-bias?

AIPAC rival 'J Street' tied to Qatar, George Soros

Washington - A new Jewish lobby that claims to be supportive of Israel has been linked to Qatar.

A former Israeli diplomat has asserted that J Street has been connected to Qatar through the U.S. public relations firm of Fenton Communications.

Lenny Ben-David, a former diplomat and now consultant, said J Street founder Jeremy Ben-Ami, a senior vice president at Fenton until the lobby's establishment in 2008, could have been involved in a March 2009 project by Qatar to undermine support for Israel in the United States.

Ben-David said J Street's 160-member advisory board included those listed as foreign agents for Egypt and Saudi Arabia. His letter also cited J Street's ties with U.S. billionaire George Soros, said to have long sought to undermine the traditional pro-Israel lobby in Washington.

From  Ben-David's open letter to Ben-Ami:  "So, it appears that Soros has created an organization that competes with AIPAC, calls for inclusion of Hamas, and opposes sanctions against Iran," Ben-David said. Leftist "human-rights" activists ignore Islamists to taunt AIPAC conventioneers with Hamas propaganda

Leftist "peace-rally" leader toying with 2009 AIPAC Policy Conference delegates reveals leftists' obsessive enmity - exclusively against Israel. They parrot Hamas' libelous, Israel-damning statistics about Operation Cast Lead, which have been proven false.

The IDF Spokesperson's Unit tells DemoCast: During Operation Cast Lead, 1,166 Palestinians were killed during Cast Lead, 709 of whom were Hamas operatives. 162 additional men between the ages of 15-50 whose affiliations were not identified. Only 295 non-combatants died, among them just 89 under the age of 16 and 49 women.

It is important to remember that Hamas regularly recruits youth from as young as 12 years of age to engage in terrorist activities, especially young boys. And that young men are routinely used to operate smuggling tunnels between Egypt and Gaza – the primary means of bringing weapons into Gaza.

During Cast Lead, the IDF targeted sites that were used for terror purposes. Mosques, schools, hospitals and the roughly 1,800 UN sites located inside of the Gaza strip were all designated on IDF maps. Roughly a dozen mosques were targeted by the IDF over the course of the operation, they were targeted because intelligence information indicated that they were used for terror purposes, either for storing weapons, or as rocket launching sites.

Hamas regularly exploits civilians and civilian infrastructure (be it schools, hospitals, public buildings, zoos or religious sites), choosing to turn residential neighborhoods into urban battlegrounds, in order to provide cover for their terrorist activities. They often shoot rockets from sites adjacent to such buildings, or use these places to store weapons, or hide, in order to complicate the fighting and exploit the IDF's reluctance to damage civilian or religious infrastructure.

Jews & Christians challenge SoCal Islamist/Leftists' rally for phased-destruction of Jewish Israel via "Liberate Palestine!" movement

Emboldened, perhaps, by the Jihad's public success against at killing Jews in Mumbai this week, Southern California Islamists try their hands at wiping-out Judaism's biblical-homeland and refuge - through a culturally-insensitive demonstration outside the Israeli Embassy in Los Angeles.

An unholy alliance of Islamist and Far-Left groups demonstrated outside the Israeli Embassy in Los Angeles on Thursday, December 4th. The demonstrators included the ANSWER Coalition, Free Iraq Now, International Action Center, LA Jews for Peace, and various Moslem, anti-Israel/pro-Palestinian nationalist groups united in the phased destruction of the world's only Jewish refuge in their Biblical homeland.

"Stand With Us" organized a multifaith opposition gathered to counter the anti-Zionists. A Persian-born woman cried-out warning about appeasing Islamic cultures' intolerance of minorities - which she alleges is the basis for the Muslim campaign to delegitimize the Jewish Holy Land from the Moslem-dominated Middle East.

"Stand with Us" college organizer, Karen, characterizes the anti-Zionists as not malicious, but "misguided" with regard to the historical legitimacy of Israel and the true intentions of Palestinian-state activists - which she contends is not a peaceful co-existence, but instead, the destruction of Jewish self-rule in Israel.

Scheduling their Islamist-Leftist rally within a week of the murders of 6 innocent Jewish civilians in Mumbai at the hands of Muslim terrorists perhaps amplified the subtext of the anti-Israel-ists crusade.

Do anti-Zionists condone violence or terrorism to intimidate people from disagreeing with or opposing their dogma?

The anti-Zionists demonstrated no acknowledgment or remorse shown about that, nor was any acknowledment of the mysterious death of the multiculturalist Jewish physician, Dr. Dan Kliman. Known for opposing Islamist-Leftist mis-information rallies against Israel with counter-protests (pictured,  courtesy of San Francisco Voice for Israel), Dr. Kliman's body was found this week at the foot of the elevator shaft in the Pacific Arabic Resources School. He took evening classes to learn the Arabic language from Muslim teachers there.

For years, Dr. Kliman voluntarily responded to slanderous, anti-Israel rallys. He reached-out to Muslims and Leftists to achieve mutually respectful resolutions of Muslim-Jewish / Arab-Israeli issues. But (according to the blog "At the back of the Hill") not all Muslims were as respectful towards Dan.

* Dan was very well-known to the other side, his picture was posted on several sites identifying him as a Zionist "conspirator" and one of the lead-activists in the Bay Area.

* He had received several death-threats over the years - he was known by name and address.

* The pro-Palestinian side has often either used violence or threatened to do so - Dan was assaulted several times.

* The building where he was found was where he was taking Arabic classes; there were NO classes that week.

* Several members of the other side also take Arabic classes - that is one of the few schools in the area where Arabic is taught, and there is a constantly changing roster of Israel-haters studying Arabic there.

*The defective elevator had been secured so no one could enter it.

And until the police PROVE that it was an accident, I have to suspect that Dan was jumped by pro-Palestinian opportunists, who knew who he was, that the building was nearly empty, and that they would not soon have so excellent a chance to "get that Zionist!" 

Dan was hated. And he was alone in a place frequented by many of his enemies.

Australian TV News Attempts to Equate Jewish with Islamic Fundamentalism

Australian TV News "Dateline" segment focuses on the influence of Orthodox Jewish culture over secular Israel politics and culture. Israel's culture is painted as inherently discriminatory, showing ultra-Orthodox Jewish examples of parochial discrimination (men vs women, observant vs secular, and by inference, Jew vs Muslim) inferring a cultural prejudice towards oppressing Palestinians.

Segment attempts to draw a moral equivalence between religious fundamentalism among Jews and Muslims.

Exposing Anti-Americanism

On the eve of the annual, global broadcast media association's NewsXchange conference, a look into the international, anti-Americanist culture which influences the tone of global newsreporting vis a vis America and Israel.

One theory presented is, like anti-Semitism, it's 'ressentiment.' Wikipedia defines
'Ressentiment' as a sense of resentment and hostility directed at that which one identifies as the cause of one's frustration, an assignation of blame for one's frustration. The sense of weakness or inferiority and perhaps jealousy in the face of the "cause" generates a rejecting/justifying value system, or morality, which attacks or denies the perceived source of one's frustration. The ego creates an enemy, to insulate itself from culpability.

Lacking enforceable penalty (social, legal, or physical) for publicly expressing such denigration, such condemnations flourish.

'Holocaust Fuels Modern Resentment of Jews & Israel' - Israeli Professor

Tel Aviv University Professor Dina Porat lays-out how the the Holocaust fuels anti-Israelism and anti-Semitism among leftist ideologues. Columnist Melanie Phillips' must-read interpretation:

"... the charge that Israeli Jews and Jews who support Israel have themselves turned into Nazis.
This deranged belief derives from a cocktail of ideology and prejudice. The victim culture championed by the left has created a large number of ‘victim’ groups all claiming primacy over each other. French thinkers such as Alain Finkielkraut and Bernard-Henri Levy have described this as a ‘competition of martyrdom’ in which groups such as American blacks, gays lesbians and other gender activists, American Indians and indigenous peoples everywhere, Muslims and so on, all compete to be considered the most victimised group on the planet. But the Holocaust, which although victimising others was specifically a Jewish genocide, made the Jews into the ultimate victims of a unique persecution. That uniqueness was considered a threat by others who resented the claim because it seemed to them to diminish their own claim to have suffered. {...}

And so if Jews defend Israel the left claim they are seeking to appropriate the role of ultimate victim and manipulate public debate to achieve that image at the expense of the universal brotherhood of victims across the globe. They are said to be waving the shroud of the Holocaust to sanitise the crimes of Israel.

And if Jews call attention to antisemitism they merely create it all over again, because this reinforces the belief that the Jews use this claim as a manipulative weapon for their own advantage. So Jews are never to be allowed to tell the truth about their own persecution; the more they tell this truth, the more they are to be cast out as pariahs for manipulating public debate. {...}

So apparently has it proved; according to Professor Porat, a study has now shown that Holocaust education does nothing to stop antisemitism and may even make it worse. If identifying Jewish victimhood with the Holocaust causes a murderous resentment, then obviously the more that the Holocaust is thrust down people’s throats, the more that resentment will increase.

While antisemitism once caused the Holocaust, the Holocaust now causes antisemitism. The fact that by their very existence the Jews are the incarnation of the incriminating memory of the crime committed against them - prompts a resurgence of the very prejudice that lay at the heart of that crime.

In short, as has often been observed, the problem is simply that the Jews have never been forgiven for the Holocaust.
