Does new convention, PolitiCon foster understanding or incite further partisanship between attendees?

With a schedule of speakers from across the political spectrum, the premiere PolitiCon sounded intended to bring Democrats and Republicans together in a spirit of mutual civic interest and patriotism. But with what felt like a 70/30 liberal attendee tilt, a tribalist dynamic took over and the respect which Republicans expected was replaced with Obama-era, liberal contempt.

Here, posing with Republican performance-artist, Brayton, contempt-inciting radio host, Stephanie Miller adds to her gallery of Republican-mocking photos.

Ms. Miller tells DemoCast facetiously, "I have a rash from being so close to so many right-wingers. I actually touched Ann Coulter- gawd!"

Rep. Michelle Bachman educates antagonistic challenger about Iran's apocalypticism as Larry Elder looks on

Jessica an actress from Hollywood reacts about PolitiCon's attendee breakdown and mistreatment of conservative panelists and attendees from liberal attendees.

The former congresswoman from Minnesota, Michele Bachmann had to school a sophomoric antagonist attempting to rationalize enabling nukes to apocalyptic messianic Iran. He tells her Iran would be deterred from using them- because of the "mutually-assured-destruction" premise from the rational but imperialist Communist Soviets. She explains otherwise.

Muslim Brotherhood influence in Obama-Hillary Admin- Rep. Michelle Bachmann stokes immune response against Islamization at Christian Zionist confab

U.S. Rep. Michele Bachmann (R-MN) carried her battle against the Islamist influence of the Obama Administration into her address before the Washington Summit of Christians United for Israel (C.U.F.I.) on Tuesday evening, July 18th.

She objected to Obama and Hillary Clinton's invitation to Egypt's Muslim Brotherhood party President Mohammed Morsi to the U.S., in contravention of prohibitions against dealing with terrorist organizations.

Arnold Ahlert discusses the flap between Rep. Michelle Bachman "Islamists the Islamists Within" in FrontPage Magazine
U.S. Rep. Michele Bachmann and four other House colleagues are making things uncomfortable for an Obama administration that has a decided tolerance for Islamists. In doing so, Bachmann and company have raised two important questions.

First, they want to know how Secretary of State Hillary Clinton’s top aide, deputy chief of staff Huma Abedin, got security clearance, despite having relatives with ties to the Muslim Brotherhood.

Second, they would like an investigation conducted regarding the “potential Muslim Brotherhood infiltration” of the Obama administration. For their efforts, they were challenged by Muslim Congressman Keith Ellison (D-MN). Ms. Bachmann’s response, detailing her concerns and those of her colleagues, reveals the extent to which this administration has been tainted–or quite possibly corrupted–by Islamist influences.  (. . .)

Bachmann also reveals that “despite statements backed up by considerable evidence in court raising concerns about many of the Muslim Brotherhood front groups,” various departments in the Obama administration continue to engage in “outreach” programs with these same organizations “as if the evidence…doesn’t exist.”
Lastly, she reveals that, despite the FBI officially cutting ties with CAIR after the Holy Land trial, “the White House Director for Community Partnerships admitted that this administration has had ‘hundreds’ of meeting with CAIR” and that the White House “has worked to conceal these ties (in one case, with ISNA and MPAC).”

Bachmann also says an investigation of “potential Muslim Brotherhood infiltration” of President Barack Obama’s administration is needed because of interactions between federal agencies and what she calls U.S. front groups for the Muslim Brotherhood, an international Islamist group that recently came to power in Egypt.

One of Bachmann’s June 13 letters singles out Huma Abedin, a deputy chief of staff to Secretary of State Hillary Clinton and wife of former New York congressman Anthony Weiner.

Bachmann’s letter says three members of Abedin’s family have had ties to the Muslim Brotherhood, notes that her job affords her routine access to Clinton, and says the State Department has taken recent actions “that have been enormously favorable to the Muslim Brotherhood and its interests.”

Sound the call against Obama Admin enabling Iran to nuclear-weaponize:Glenn Beck, Michelle Bachmann, and Ileana Ros-Lehtinen at Zionist Organization of America event

Rep. Michele Bachmann urged the Pentagon to develop a war plan “immediately” that would evaluate ways to prevent Iran from developing a nuclear weapon.

The Zionist Organization of America annual banquet featured Republican congresswomen Florida’s Rep. Ileana Ros-Lehtinen and Minnesota's Rep. Michelle Bachmann joining against the Obama Administration's Middle East policies in concert with keynote speaker, GBTV's Glenn Beck.

Six Congressmen attended, including Rep. Michelle Bachmann, who called on President Barack Obama “to accelerate covert operations and cyber operations in Iran and order the CIA Director to take all means necessary to stop Iran from getting the bomb before it is too late,” said Bachmann, a member of the House Intelligence Committee.
“And the Pentagon should prepare a war plan immediately to tell us what to do to prevent Iran from gaining those nuclear weapons,” she continued.

In Prime Minister Netanyahu’s video message, he praised Z.O.A. Exec. Director Morton Klein for being a “passionate Zionist” and the ZOA for ”promoting the truth no matter what the consequences are."

Netanyahu also lauded Beck, telling him, “You too have been fearless in defending Israel against the slanders that are hurled against [it]. You’ve done that with considerable personal cost, but you’ve never backed off, you’ve never flinched, you’ve never walked away. And I want to tell you how deeply we appreciate this stand of courage and integrity.”

Glenn Beck portrayed the challenges facing Israel and the Jewish people in apocalyptic terms -- as the ultimate showdown between good and evil. Beck was the only speaker at the dinner whose voice reached a pitch more feverish than Klein’s.

Beck said he came to the ZOA as a brother. “It’s personal,” he said repeatedly.

And clearly he has not been chastened by the urgings of some Jewish groups to tread lightly with the Holocaust analogies. Again and again he invoked them, saying the world stood on a precipice like the one it faced in 1939 -- only this time it’s worse, as not only is the world ignoring rising evil, he said, it is actively helping it along.
