UCLA Police Chief John Thomas departed employ today facing significant scrutiny regarding his handling in May of an Islamo-Marxist, anti-Israel encampment protest on campus. The liberal university administrators had turned down his advice not to permit the encampment because it violated campus rules against overnight camping and could lead to potential violence. The administration decided to allow it as an expression of students' First Amendment rights, instructing that police should not be included in any security plan.
When the Islamo-Marxists, who had gotten away with pushing around Jewish faculty and students, finally encountered push-back from area Jewish students - it blew back in the administrators' faces and they scapegoated Chief Thomas.
Were the protesters merely anti-Israel or were they anti-Jewish? Zionism, i.e., residing in the land of Israel to practice Judaism, is a principle of Judaism. If the administrators allowed Muslims’ protest which criticized a tenet of Judaism to not be Islamophobic… how about the administrators offending the Jews by NOT challenging the Muslims’ innate anti-Jewish motives - which similarly are a part of Islam?
A first-year memorial vigil was held a few weeks ago at the site of the Islamic Society of Simi Valley, California's anti-Israel protest in Thousand Oaks. In November '23 Jewish counter-demonstrator, Paul Kessler, 69, was struck by Jordanian-American, Loay Alnaji, and died.
Mr. Paul Kessler (pictured left) a Jewish-Californian demonstrated support for Israel against a hostile, MidEast Muslim immigrant protest in Nov. '23. It's alleged that enraged fundamentalist Jordanian immigrant, Mr. Loay Alnaji (pictured right) bashed his megaphone into Kessler's face, knocking him down and killing him. Ventura County D.A. chose not to charge religious bigotry in Alnaji's motive, which limited sentencing to four-years maximum. (Photo credit: @NewsVCNews)
Palestinian Muslim-born, Ayman Abu Subohh converted to Judaism, adopting the name Dor Shachar. At the vigil, he explains the religious indoctrination religious Muslims are taught, particularly in Jordan, Palestinian Territories, Egypt, Pakistan, and Iran: To subordinate and persecute - non-Muslims anywhere, particularly in a previously Muslim-ruled territory, such as Spain or Israel, which they are mandated to reconquer for Allah.
Through an English interpreter, Mr. Shachar explains why he feels that religious bias / bigotry was a motivating factor in Alnaji's battering Mr. Kessler - which would qualify for a penal enhancement in the battery and involuntary manslaughter crimes - which for deterrent purposes, Ventura County District Attorneys ought to consider.
This video shows the vitriol of members of the Islamic Society of Simi Valley, California towards Jewish-people and Israel at a demonstration in Thousand Oaks on November 5, 2023. Mr. Mamdouh Elalami crassly shouts anti-Zionist slurs at Jews through his megaphone, even as Paul Kessler, who had just had his face smashed open by Loay Alnaji, lay just meters away - with open wounds on a stretcher in an ambulance.

Veteran reporter, Hal Eisner of Fox11-KTTV News, covered a November '23 rally seeking justice for the late Mr. Paul Kessler, whom it is alleged that Mr. Loay Alnaji battered with a megaphone. Mr. Kessler's colleague Jonathan Oswaks, who is shown in this story, claims that Mr. Alnaji specifically went after Mr. Kessler because he was holding an Israeli flag. Hal Eisner points out that people he interviewed believe that the motive of Alnaji's attack qualifies for "bias-motive" (California law term for what's commonly considered "hate-crime" charge enhancement) for Kessler's association with Israeli nationality (and possibly Jewish faith). Ventura County D.A. Erik Nasarenko's office has not added bias-motive to the charges. Yet anti-Jewish bigotry is a recognized part of Islamic culture, particularly in fundamentalism and certainly in the Middle East and Pakistan.
Lebanese-descended scholar of Islam, Robert Spencer of JihadWatch.com says that the supremacist and annihilationist dogma against non-Muslims is ubiquitous in Islam. Western liberals' 'political correctness' has inhibited criticism of Islam's theology, cultural bigotries, and its imperialism against non-Muslims. Search-engines minimize- and social-media censors commentary on the topic. This taboo-ing inhibits police, investigations, and prosecutors from addressing and confronting the theology in motives for uncivil and criminal conduct.
In the case of the November '23 attack by Jordanian-Muslim Loay Alnaji which killed native Jewish-Californian, Paul Kessler, the Ventura County District Attorney Erik Nasarenko may chosen to avoid the prosecution challenging Islam on theo-cultural bias (based on religion or association with Israel) to enhance the battery and involuntary manslaughter charges for a longer, more deterrent penalty.
In this part 2 of the interview, Muslim-raised, Ayman Abu Suboh explores the intricate dynamics of interfaith relations particularly between Muslims, Jews, and Christians. He reflects on personal encounters that reveal trust issues influenced by extremist beliefs, while discussing how financial support from Qatar to Hamas exacerbates anti-Jewish sentiment. He shares his journey from Islam to Judaism, motivated by a divine calling to foster understanding and coexistence between communities, taking the name Dor Shachar- Dawn Generation.
He recounts experiences in Israel that highlight common humanity, expressing a desire for peaceful coexistence despite historical tensions. Additionally, he raises concerns about insufficient responses from American institutions to anti-Israel sentiments and he urges vigilance among American Jews to ensure their safety and well-being. The narrative underscores a pressing need for open dialogue and community collaboration to address misunderstandings and hostility.
In cities such as New York and Los Angeles, where the police no longer submit to District Attorneys cases lesser than felonies, police charging without the bias-enhancement (whether based on race, nationality, or association with nationality, such as Americans supportive of Israel) leaves cases of assault or battery as misdemeanors - and don't even receive full investigative resources - and the perpetrators know they can get away with injurious crimes - which poses no deterrent to future attackers and injured victims. The maximum penalty for Loay Alnaji if convicted as charged (without the bias enhancement) in the death of Paul Kessler is only four-years of jail-time (if even sentenced to the maximum).
Given these logistical limitations, shouldn't police and prosecutors stop avoiding the indoctrinated bigotry Islam inculcates against non-Muslims (e.g., Hindus, Kurds, Copts, Christians, Jews) which has wreaked the Middle East and now, with immigration into the West, also incites bigotry expressed during inciteful protests?
US Ambassador John Bolton topped the roster of experts educating Western societies resisting the march of political-Islam at a conference held Sunday on Western Civilization and Islam sponsored by the American Freedom Alliancein Los Angeles. The conference presented Muslim and non-Muslim experts expounding on the nature of (and socio-political coping with) Islam's cultural and political expansionary essence.
John Bolton addresses Western Civ and Islam Conference
Amb. Bolton addressed his keynote overview of the current picture of Islamist imperialist aggression around the globe. He remarked (in this DemoCast.TV embedded video): "I'd like to talk a little bit about the threat that radical-Islam and political-Islam, more broadly, pose to the United States and its friends in Europe and elsewhere around the world. I think it's important that we try to say at the outset every time this subject comes up- that we are talking about politics and ideology here. This is not a question of religion.
And those who say that 'when you talk about radical-Islam you're insulting Muslims all over the world' are simply engaged in propaganda. It's actually Muslims themselves who have felt the worst effects of Islamic terrorism and who suffer under its rule in places as diverse as Iran and the Caliphate that ISIS now holds."
Amb. Bolton gave this example of Muslims trying to resist the Islamist expansion.
"(Jordan's) King Abdullah and other political leaders in the Middle East have said, 'This is a civil war within Islam. It's a struggle for how the religion is perceived around the world. You think of Gen. al-Sisi in Egypt who was courageous enough a couple of years ago to join the Coptic Christians and the Coptic Pope in their celebration of Christmas- and to say that "We are all Egyptians together" thus, among other reasons, putting a target on his back from the Muslim Brotherhood. So I think that this is a critical distinction to make. And one that those who don't want to have a clear understanding of radical-Islam are quick to try and obscure."
Amb. Bolton presented this detailed assessment of political Islam (also known as Islamism's) growing influence around the globe, with particular emphasis on where Obama has been too dovish- Iran, Iraq, Syria, and Turkey- which have enabled Russia to supplant the United States as the Middle East regional power.
Syrian-born psychiatrist Dr. Wafa Sultan, in delivering her first, speech in 5-years, analyzed the psycho-socio and theological motivations behind Islamic imperialism. Dr. Sultan declared to the A.F.A. audience that Islam is inherently radical, expansionist, and supremacist.
In her talk (video embedded), she challenged conventional notions put forward by the Council for American Islamic Relations (CAIR) and perpetuated by the mainstream-media. She also resents that Pope Francis, she feels, fronts for intolerance by contending that "Islam is a religion of peace." In this talk, she explains why she feels that isn't true.
Transcript (partial):
"In brief, Islam is not a religion. It is a political ideology that imposes itself by force and fear. American values such as compassion, respect and acceptance of others, should not get in the way of understanding the danger that threatens those very core virtues. Following those values blindly might lead to demise. I am originally from Syria and I have been closely (and sadly) watching the hellish war that has been going on for over 5 years now. I can tell you that this war is a living proof that no country on earth is immune to the destruction and cruelty Islam brings. When it comes to Islam, Americans are sound-asleep. They have to wake up and realize destruction and cruelty can (and will) happen here if they continue to ignore the magnitude of this ideology.
Millions of Islamists throughout the world are ready to act-out their ideology to kill or to be killed in order to be divine, have their next meal with Mohammed, and sleep with 72 virgins.
They are indoctriniated to believe that Islam is here to take-over the world and restore the Islamic Khalifa of the 7th century.
When they find weak governments that are more interested in political correctiness, rather than protecting their country, they will seize the opportunity to destroy that country's religion and replace it with Islam. They practice Islam not as a religion, but as a weapon. They understand the need to infiltrate and destroy from within.
This is my first public speech in 5 years. I have sadly halted my mission as a result of the despair and the frustration that had once taken over me. I have had to fight on 2 hostile fronts- neither of them easier than the other. The first is to fight this vicious ideology through my writings and speaking out in Arabic.
The second front is to penetrate the mindset of those in the world that don't understand Islam and convince them that there is no such thing as Islam and "radical Islam"- All Islam is radical. The difficulties I faced trying to educate people in America, the America that I love (and am ready to sacrifice my life to protect) was beyond my ability to overcome in the past. But not today. Today, I am here speaking to you urging you to stand up with me against conformity and submission.
People have been brainwashed to believe that all religions are basically good and have good intentions. But Islam is not good. Nor does it have good intentions. Islam justifies hatred and violence- as well encourages it. Not that long ago, the Pope states that the Koran is a book of peace and Islam is a peaceful religion. Wrong- absolutely wrong! On the contrary, it is also psychologically and spiritually damaging to people like myself who had suffered under the Islamic Shariah.
A week ago, I read a book called, "Winners Never Cheat." It is written by an American billionaire named Jon Huntsman. Originally, I thought I would learn from the billionaire's advice and insight into business hoping that I would become a billionaire. To my shock, Islam was mentioned twice in the book. On page 186, the author said, "In fact, Islam encouraging the practice of endowing money or property, called waqf for the purpose of maintaining schools, hospitals and churches. And churches? Wrong! Absolutely wrong! In fact, the concept of waqf means exactly the opposite of what the author described. Waqf means whatever Islam can take over and own is reserved solely for Muslims. One of the purposes of waqf is to destroy churches, not to maintain them. For example, since ISIS took over the north of Iraq, not one 1 church has been kept intact. All of them have been totally destroyed. The Pope and the billionaire have been tricked. And don't dare to tell me that ISIS is not Islam or Islam is not ISIS. ISIS is walking in the footsteps of Mohammed and the teaching of Islam. The world is in denial. These powerful men are supposed to LEAD the majority, yet one cannot recognize the difference between churches and mosques. And the other claims that Islam is a religion of peace. Two very conflicting and contradictory statements. We are in a real dilemma. I don't believe the author or the Pope set out to lie. I truly believe they have fallen victim themselves. Victims of this rapid-growing false belief in a so-called 'religion of peace.' They intended them to grow-up reading the Koran in Arabic. But maybe somehow they came across a poorly-translated, watered-down version of the Koran." (Dr. Sultan's talk continues beyond this partial transcript).
British online commentator, Pat Condell, shatters popular shibboleths about "Palestine nationalism" and Israeli intransigence- in this bold, new video:
"Is it racist to criticize the Palestinians as the world's most tiresome cry-babies with a bogus cause, and a plight that's entirely self-inflicted? I bet it is. I wouldn't be surprised if it weren't against the law in certain European countries. But I'm going to do it anyway, because somebody has to. I realize I'll probably lose a few friends with this video. But that's okay, friends like that I can do without.
All any of us can do is tell the truth as we see it. I mean as we actually see it, and not as we think we're supposed to see it. The worst thing you can do is to see the truth and to tell a lie- and I see the Palestinian cause as a lie. A lie designed to exploit Western liberal guilt, like the lie of Islamophobia, and the lie of the mythical "religion of peace" that nobody has ever seen in action.
I used to be a lot more critical of Israel, and I used to believe there was a fairly simple, two-state solution, because I used to believe the Arabs were acting in good faith. I still want to believe that, but the evidence tells me I'd be a fool to believe it.
Because I've seen that every concession that Israel makes is met with more demands and more excuses not to negotiate. They (Palestinians) could have had peace ten-times over if they wanted it, but they don't want peace- they want victory - and they won't be happy 'til Israel is wiped from the map.
A member of Fatah's Central Committee said as much on television recently, but as he said, they keep that to themselves and tell the rest of the world a different story. And as part of that story, the bogus claim for Palestinian statehood is currently passing through the United Nations, and we're all waiting to see what plops out the other end.
Not that it really matters, because despite what the Palestinian public-relations industry, i.e., the Western media might tell you- this is not about territory - and it certainly isn't about justice or human-rights, because Arab societies don't know the meaning of those words. It's about Jew-hatred - as mandated by the Quran - and as preached by the mosques and taught to the children in Arab countries, day in and day out, generation after poisoned generation. The Arabs don't hate Jews because of Israel, they hate Israel because of Jews.
The situation in the West Bank and Gaza exists because 45-years ago, several Arab countries attacked Israel, unprovoked, with overwhelming odds, because it was the Jewish state. If it hadn't been a Jewish state, they wouldn't have attacked it. And they attacked with the intention of wiping it from the map and of committing genocide.
But they failed because the Jews had a bit more steel in their blood than the Arabs had bargained for. And who could be surprised after what they'd been through- and after seeing how the rest of the world had responded to their plight.
Large numbers of Jews could have escaped the Nazis if they had somewhere else to go, but other countries wouldn't let them in. (Please contribute for the work which disseminates this life-saving resource for you, your loved ones, and your community).
On this week's edition of Stakelbeck on Terror, CBN News' Erick Stalelbeck sits down for an exclusive interview with Nadim Gemayel, a Christian member of Lebanon's parliament who says the terror group Hezbollah has hijacked his country -- and he aims to take it back.
Gemayel, whose father and cousin were both murdered by Syrian thugs, also addressed the destructive influence both Syria and Iran are having inside Lebanon.
We then take an exclusive look at how Iran's regime is targeting Iranian dissidents inside the U.S. with help from the international police organization Interpol.
Plus, Left Behind author Tim LaHaye talks about his new bestselling fiction novel, Edge of Apocalypse. LaHaye and co-author Craig Parshall also discuss the world's turn against Israel and America's role in Bible prophecy.
CBN News then goes "Inside Israel" with Middle East Bureau Chief Chris Mitchell for a look at Turkey's recent turn against Israel and embrace of the Iranian axis and what it could mean for the Middle East.
Also, don't miss retired Lt. Gen. Jerry Boykin as he takes on the proposed Ground Zero mosque. Boykin, a founding member of Delta Force, says the mosque will embolden Islamic radicals and ultimately endanger American lives.
Robert Spencer writes in FrontPage Magazine: "Faisal Shahzad and his car bomb is yet another indication of the tenacity and persistence of the jihad against the United States – and of the continuing and even hardening resistance of American officials to the elementary step of even admitting that that jihad is being waged." Read it all.
The opening chapter titled “The Myth of Environmental Armageddon” deals with global warming which has swept the planet. Phillips ruthlessly dissects the lies and distortions employed to promote what she regards as one of the greatest scientific scams of the modern age,“reminiscent of a medieval witch-hunt,” with dissenting scientists being hounded from their posts by the equivalent of a secular inquisition.
A gang of pro-Palestinian demonstrators rampaged through the heart of the Jewish community on Wednesday evening, attacking businesses and assaulting a motorist.
The group of around 15 men had been demonstrating in support of Palestinians in Gaza but then made their way along Golders Green Road, attacking the man as he got into his car.
They attempted to gain access to a number of kosher restaurants and Jewish businesses, and at one point entered Solly’s restaurant, but were thrown out by staff and diners.
A Community Security Trust spokesman said: “The gang-related incident in Golders Green is extremely troubling.
“The idea that events in the Middle East can trigger this kind of rampage is something that the community, police and politicians need to now consider with the utmost urgency." (London's Jewish Chronicle)

Israel National News' Gil Ronen has an excellent follow-up interview with al-Jazeera Zionist upstart, Prof. Mordechai Kedar, a political scientist from Israel's Bar Ilan University.
Commenting on his TV interview that has received rave reviews from Israel-lovers the world because of its forcefulness, Bar Ilan University political scientist Dr. Mordechai Kedar responded to the al-Jazeera interviewer's chiding about Jerusalem on live television:
"We were here (Jerusalem) when your (Muslim) forefathers were drinking wine, burying their daughters alive, and worshipping idols!"
"They did not expect me to take the discussion to history and especially not to religion," Kedar told Israel National News. But discuss religion he did in the above video, reminding his interviewer that Jerusalem was not mentioned even once in the Koran and saying directly, in fluent Arabic, that, "Jerusalem is not on the negotiating table," and that "Jerusalem belongs to the Jews, period."
"This was very aggravating" for the Al-Jazeera interviewer, Kedar explained, "because in the Islamic view, Islam came into the world to replace Judaism and Christianity, not to live side by side with them. And here, all of a sudden, the Jews are coming from exile and building their state again and (G-d forbid) they also regained Jerusalem!"
Judaism is thus regaining its meaning, and Islam is challenged by this, the Bar-Ilan professor explained. "The mere existence of the State of Israel and the fact that we are in Jerusalem is some kind of challenge to the legitimacy of Islam in their eyes," Kedar explained.
Prof. Kedar's story runs from 1:55 to 6:37 of the video program.
The Miriam-Webster Dictionary clarifies the misconception that 'propaganda' equates lying. It defines propaganda as: "the spreading of ideas, information, or rumor for the purpose of helping or injuring an institution, a cause, or a person," and "ideas, facts, or allegations spread deliberately to further one's cause or to damage an opposing cause; also : a public action having such an effect."
Prof. Kedar feels that Israel is losing the media war because the government failed to prioritize the value of arguing its case directly around the globe.
"This is not hasbara. This is a battle. A battle for the Arab heart. Which Israel, apparently, is losing because Israel gave up on the main tool which would have served it in this battle: which is an independent, Israeli, Zionist Satellite Channel in Arabic. This is a very hard battle. However, there are many Arabs who would listen to Israelis and would consider, maybe, changing their views- and they are not carried away by Arab propaganda."

Intelligence agencies in the United States and Canada are warning of mounting signs that Hezbollah, backed by Iran, is poised to mount a terror attack against "Jewish targets" somewhere outside the Middle East.
Intelligence officials tell ABC News the group has activated suspected "sleeper cells" in Canada and key operatives have been tracked moving outside the group's Lebanon base to Canada, Europe and Africa.
Officials say Hezbollah is seeking revenge for the February assassination of Hezbollah's military commander, Imad Mugniyah, killed by a car bomb in Damascus, Syria.
Mugniyah is believed by Israel to have been involved in planning the 1992 bombing of Israel's embassy in Argentina in which 29 people were killed and the blast at a Buenos Aires Jewish center two years later that killed 95.
The Hizbullah commander was also involved in numerous terror attacks on Israel's border with Lebanon, including the kidnapping of Israeli soldiers Benny Avraham, Adi Avitan and Omar Souad, and apparently also the abduction of Eldad Regev and Ehud Goldwasser. (YNet News)
Benjamin Netanyahu addresses global and local defense strategies against militant Islamism, starting with deferring the potential establishment of a Jihadist, Palestinian state. He warns that carving-up Jerusalem to permit Palestinian authority would create 'a Mecca for all the world's terrorists.'
The mainstream media has avoided mention of this important conference. Even the Jerusalem Post and Ha'aretz are lacking. DemoCast salutes Israel National News with full video coverage of the Jerusalem Conference, including an interview with Boston University Prof. Richard Landes about news media distortion on Israel vs Palestine reporting. ... How much longer should American troops keep fighting and dying to build a new Iraq while Iraqi leaders fail to do their part? And how much longer can we wear down our forces in this mission? These haunting questions underscore the reality that the surge cannot go on forever. But there is enough good happening on the battlefields of Iraq today that Congress should plan on sustaining the effort at least into 2008.
How the Arab world adopted Nazi techniques for inverting reality through propaganda wars - to depict Jews as persecutors and Arabs as victims - which enables Western misunderstanding of and support for Islamist movement against Israel and Jews everywhere.
"If today's Arab anti-Israeli and anti-Jewish propaganda strongly resembles that of the Third Reich, there is a good reason." So writes Joel Fishman of the Jerusalem Center for Public Affairs in "The Big Lie and the Media War against Israel: From Inversion of the Truth to Inversion of Reality," an insightful piece of historical research.
