Univ of Calif Irvine threatens to arrest Dr. Terry Jones, candidate for US presidency, for speaking-out on campus against Sharia

The Univ of Calif at Irvine has earned a reputation for enabling pro-Islamism, but anti-American and anti-Israel activities, speakers and events.

Radical Islamist critics of America and Israel have been welcomed to speak and agitate on the campus. Muslim and leftist enemies of America, Israel, and capitalism are permitted to hold prominent, vitriolic exhibitions and rallies in the center of the campus.

The Muslim Students Union was found guilty of conspiring to thwart an invited address by Israeli Ambassador Michael Oren last year- and suspended for a semester (under that name).

Dr. Terry Jones, Independent presidential candidate and leader of Stand With America Now ("SWAN") had intended  to speak at the "soap box" outdoor forum at the "flagpoles" on the Univ of Calif at Irvine campus on December 1st. His group says that they filed the necessary formal requests- but the college did not respond and did not reply to their follow-up inquiries.

They announced that they would be seeking to stage a small outdoor forum anyway, but the Administration did not respond.  Muslim activist groups, however, were organizing a counter-protest to the SWAN appearance. On the night before the scheduled rally, sheriffs from Irvine phoned and offered Dr. Jones and Pastor Wayne Sapp to escort their car to the University campus. Militant Muslims have announced a $2 million dollar bounty for anyone to kill Dr. Jones, and specific threats came in related to his appearing at UCI.  When the sheriffs arrived, they informed SWAN that they would be bringing them to meet with the UCI Campus Police first.

The campus police told them that the University had denied them permission to speak, and moreover, that there were security threats made if Dr. Jones were to appear on the campus- which could be a threat not only to the SWAN visitors, but to others. asked them to withdraw from the campus, and when SWAN confirmed their intention to speak publicly, the Campus Police cited them for non-consent to withdraw. The police further warned Dr. Jones and Pastor Sapp that, in the interest of public safety, the administration was banishing them from the State University campus. Police threatened to arrest them not only if they tried to speak at the flagpoles, but if they were even found in a vehicle anywhere on campus within the next 7 days.

Rabbi Nachum Shifren, a candidate for US Senate from California who was on campus waiting to watch the SWAN forum, was told by police that there would be no rally and that he was considered trespassing.  Campus police physically escorted him off of the campus. He compares his experience here with Pastor Sapp.



Rabbi Shifren relates his opinion about why UC Irvine's chancellor had campus police deny the SWAN's campus access. Shifren believes that political-Islamic groups and financiers have an influence on creating the strong, pro-Islamic academic and social atmosphere at the Irvine branch of the Univ of California.



Dr. Jones discusses the administration's selective banning his presence, and discusses the message that the school censored Stand With American Now from presenting. Was the school prejudiced in denying Dr. Jones' free-speech message?



Pastor Sapp discusses the SWAN views that Muslims challenge with violence.



Dr. Jones and Pastor Sapp give their view of the message that the UCI imbroglio conveys- that all sides of controversial speech should be welcome dialogue on campus- and that the the public should demand that the university administrators provide ample protection for controversial conservative speakers, as they do for controversial Islamist speakers.




Are campus administrators obliged to have taken sufficient safety precautions in order to ensure SWAN's ability to speak on the campus?

Hillary Clinton's secretary, Huma Abedin, steps out of spotlight as Obama / Clinton Administration establishes relations with Muslim Brotherhood; questions arise

Questions arise from a strange confluence of events:

The Simon Wiesenthal Center criticized the White House today for opening talks with the Muslim Brotherhood in Egypt. The Center referred to a news wire story quoting a unidentified senior U.S. official and confirmed today by Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, citing, “The Brotherhood’s rise in political prominence” as the reason for the change in the White House position. “The political landscape in Egypt may have changed since the end of the Mubarak regime,” said Rabbi Marvin Hier, founder and dean of the Simon Wiesenthal Center. “But the Brotherhood’s hatred of Jews and Israel has not changed at all. This seems like a sell out to the European position and I hope it is not a signal that the United States will acquiesce to Europe and begin talking to Hamas as well.”

A few weeks ago, the leader of the Muslim Brotherhood in Egypt, Mohamed Badie (pictured left) said, “Allah has warned us the tricks of the Jews, and their role in igniting the fire of wars… and they labor hard to spread corruption on earth: and Allah does not love the spreaders of corruption.”

Rabbi Hier continued, “We should not be talking to an organization that can lay claim to being the world's leading purveyor of anti-Semitism and hatred of Jews. Legitimizing the Muslim Brotherhood sends the wrong message that you can hate Jews, and still sit and talk with world leaders.”

On the same day, today, The NY Post reports that amidst concern about possible Wahabist-affiliations, Huma Abedin, adminstrative assistant to US Sec'y of State Hillary Clinton, is taking time off from the her senior job with the State Dept- as well as time off from her husband.

FrontPage Magazine last week published an interview with Robert Spencer, author of the Politically Incorrect Guide to Islam (and the Crusades), and the director of Jihad Watch. In the interview, Mr. Spencer indicates that what with Ms. Abedin's family involvement in the Muslim Brotherhood and Sisterhood, that Muslima, Huma Abedin's marriage to the scandal-plagued Rep. Anthony Weiner (who professed Judaism when campaigning in a partly Jewish district) was reported by the Arabic al-Marsid newspaper article as being null and void.

“Dr. Anwar Shoeb of the faculty of Islamic law in Kuwait declared that the marriage between Anthony Weiner and Huma Abedin is null and void, considering it adultery as confirmed in the Sharia position, prohibiting the marriage of a Muslim woman to a non-Muslim, regardless of whether he is a Jew or a Christian. In this case, he assured the invalidity of the marriage certificate between them.”

Alternatively, Mr. Spencer declares that since the imam of the Islamic Cultural Center in NY encouraged Huma to stand by her husband who disgraced her, Anthony Weiner may have converted to Islam to marry her.

Before Weiner's last re-election, when questioning his Jewish pedigree and Zionist bona fides, challengers asserted that in addition to not caucusing with Jews in the Brooklyn-Queens democratic circles, he had, curiously never drafted any legislation in support of Israel. See video:

In "U.S Ignores Hillary Clinton's Powerful Aide Huma Abedin at Its Own Risk" published in Human Events, Walid Shoebat presents an argument that Hillary Clinton has enabled Huma Abedin (who he argues is a Muslim Brotherhood agent who was never adequately vetted) to benefit the Muslim Brotherhood from within Washington, under the guise of assisting the State Dept.

While Westerners portray The Sisterhood as a simple “mule service,” our own detailed research—which will be released shortly—reveals male supervisors as official members along with their wives and/or daughters. The list includes spies who have proudly disclosed their heroic acts during Israel’s wars with Egypt. Others are Nazi-style propagandists, Nazi affiliates from the time of the Brotherhood’s inception, hijab (Muslim head covering and modest styles of dress) advocates in Europe, prominent doctors, popular conspiracy theorists and media icons that closely emulate the Goebbels propaganda machine of Nazi Germany.

The group's influence spans several international organizations from the United Nations to the United States to women's advocacy groups worldwide. Its influence is immense. Overlooking this group—and by extension, Huma Abedin—is not dissimilar to ignoring the Able Danger intelligence operation's revelations about Mohamed Atta prior to 9/11.

Dearborn counter-Sharia rally by Pastor Terry Jones, Rabbi Shifren exposes Muslim bigotry, police complicity

Pastor Terry Jones held a rally outside of Dearborn City Hall June 17, 2011. Pastor Wayne Sapp and Rabbi Nachum Shifren accompanied him with speeches. They attracted a small group of (mostly older) supporters, were outnumbered and outshouted by many an opposotion of Muslim Dearbornites and the Detroit-based minorities' rights group, By Any Means Necessary (B.A.M.N.). National Coordinator, Donna Stern, likened Terry Jones to the KKK and his group "Stand Up for America" to Germany's National Socialists. Her mainly-black group participated with the Muslims in hurling racial epithets against Rabbi Nachum Shifren and Christian, Pastor Jones.



Eric Jones, a Zionistic Christian who publishes the website Bonhoeffer's Dream, came out in support of Stand Up for America.  He decried the anti-Judeo-Christian enmity he feels from Dearborn and carried signs "Be a Bonhoeffer"- referring to Dietrich Bonhoeffer, a German Lutheran Pastor who stood-up against anti-Semitism in the Lutheran movement, and participated in the Resistance Movement against the Nazi Party.

Pastor Jones attempted to walk from City Hall to the Arab-American Fair being held a few blocks away, but the Dearborn Police did not provide him ample protection and hecklers impeded his movement. He would have been lynched if he had not been extricated at the last minute.

Black conservative activist, Phil Stargell, expressed disgust by the lack of police protection afforded Pastor Jones.  He alleged that the Dearborn Police were politically biased in favor of the Muslim mob against Jones' rally - and called upon Attorney General Eric Holder to investigate Muslim anti-Christian influence in the Dearborn Police.

Samuel Huntington's death should tip media to Hamas' role against Israel: to remake world order; Muslim-raised, Nonie Darwish, confirms nature of plan

Israel is attempting to defend itself against ongoing terrorism from its self-professed enemy, Hamas-ruled, Gazan Arabs.

The foreign press has taken notice, accusing Israel of disproportionate response to Hamas' Kassam rocket attacks on southern Israel, which the press largely ignored during the many months that it harmed Israeli lives.   The press continues to minimize Hamas' antagonism in its mostly one-sided interpreting of the conflict as the Israeli forces' harming the Palestinians seeking 'liberation.'  But the liberation of what?

The press should take a clue from the noteworthy passing of seminal, Harvard political scientist, Prof. Samuel Huntington, this week.  In his 1993 tome, "The Clash of Civilizations and the Remaking of World Order," Prof. Huntington asserted that in a post-cold-war world, violent conflict would come not from nationalist friction between nations, but from cultural and religious differences among the world’s civilizations - predicting conflict between the the Muslim world and Western dominance. Charlie Rose interviewed him in this 1997 video.


Author and Muslim-born humanitarian, Ms. Nonie Darwish, exposes her view that the nature of the conflict being inflicted upon the West (and Israel) is motivated by fundamentalist Islamic theology and culture.

In her books, "Now They Call Me 'Infidel,'" and the January 6th scheduled release of "Cruel & Usual Punishment - The Terrifying Global Implications of Islamic Law," she demystifies Muslim cultural imperialism around the world.

She explains in this video conversation that Islamist imperialism against the West (e.g., al Qaeda, shariah law, the radicalizing of Western Muslims' mosques) is the same motivation of Arab world for the "Palestinian Peace-Process;" i.e., "The goal of the Arab-Israeli conflict is that the Jews of Israel must live under Muslim authority." 

She spends a wide-ranging discussion following the memorial service for Mumbai victims of Islamic terror group Lashkar-e-Taiba.



In the Gaza incursion, Israel is battling Islamic jihadism bent on Israel's destruction. It's the same militant, cultural imperialism seeking to convert or dominate Western civilization. Israel is defending its legitimate existence from genocidal Holy Warriors in this epitome of Huntington's "Clash of Civilizations." And the media had better recognize that - before the Shariah they are unwittingly defending ultimately turns against the media themselves.
