Radio's Jesse Lee Peterson endorses inner-city education-reformer Rabbi Nahum Shifren for State Senator from L.A.

Rev. Jesse Lee Peterson calls for voters to overcome race and religious prejudices to vote for a person's character. Peterson endorses 26th District Senate candidate, inner-city teacher Rabbi Nahum Shifren, terming him, "like a brother to me!" Rabbi Shifren is widely recognized as L.A.'s modern day Sidney Portier-type teacher as in "To Sir, With Love" - who works to save minority students from a harsh society and broken educational system.

The Beverly Hills Courier publisher, Clifton Smith, emcees the occasion.

Former hippie, "Surfing" Rabbi Nachum Shifren, campaigns today to conserve traditional values in California

Op/Ed by Rabbi Nachum Shifren:

There we were, surrounded by insane, screaming Leftist psycho-phants-- this was true danger. "Fascists, Nazis, F...ing teabaggers," you name it, they hurled it at us. One of the indignant Latino activists had misspelled his protest sign!  Ever the teacher, I let him know about his error.

"F...you, you f'---ing Jew. Why don't you go back to Auschwitz and die like the rest of your 6 million brothers?" he bellowed hysterically.  I smiled back.

Are these the "meek", the "innocent", only wanting to come to "work" and make a better life for their families? Here assembled were the Greens, the "peaceniks", the "progressives", wanting only to have one world, one culture, one (humanity?)...sans the United States of America.

He didn't appreciate my being punctilious, when at issue was really the presence of over 20,000,000 illegal aliens in our country.

For anyone that is unfamiliar with this type of riffraff, let him get used to the coming battle that we face in this election year. The pressures will be enormous on us to transform our culture into some sort of polyglot banana republic. Each of us has the duty to fight this oppression and confiscation of the only place on earth where merit and individual freedoms are still what make us the most unique people on earth.

As you turn to your daily activities, far away from the frontal assault of the despots that would plunder and subjugate our nation, remember that I am the only conservative candidate dedicated to defeating multiculturalism, amnest, and Shariah Law in California. Let me hear from you in this fateful election year!

O.C. Politics: 3-weeks after MSU vs Oren affair, D.A. files no charges against "Irvine 11" militants; Assemblyman DeVore seeks ban of Muslim Student Union from UC Irvine

(KPCC Wire Services) IRVINE — Assemblyman Chuck DeVore sent a letter to UC Irvine's chancellor asking him to ban the Muslim Student Union from campus following several of the group members' arrests while disrupting a speech by Israel's ambassador to the United States.

DeVore, (R-Irvine), who is seeking the Republican nomination for the U.S. Senate seat held by Sen. Barbara Boxer, D-Calif., also accused the Muslim Student Union of "passing the hat'' for Hamas at a fundraiser for the "terrorist organization'' last year.

"It's time to ban this organization from campus,'' DeVore said. "It's not contributing anything of value to the campus.''

DeVore's letter to UCI Chancellor Michael Drake requesting the ban of the Muslim Student Union follows the arrest of 11 students after allegedly disrupting a Feb. 8 speech by Israeli Ambassador Michael Oren at the campus.

UCI Media Relations Director Cathy Lawhon said the university's response to DeVore's letter is that UCI officials are considering the allegations against the 11 students and the Muslim Student Union. The students and organization face a range of discipline from a warning to expulsion, but it is not known when officials will decide on punishment, Lawhon said.  None of the 11 students who were arrested have been charged, according to court records.

The university is also still investigating the Muslim Student Union's fundraiser last year that critics say benefited Hamas.

The university has been roiled over permitting an anti-Semitic climate to fester on campus over the past several years.
