Christian newsmen candidly revealed their experience on Islamists' War's effect on Israel - at '24 Nat'l Religious Broadcasters' confab

In a discussion held at the last National Religious Broadcasters Association ("NRB") Convention in Nashville, Christian media-creators stationed in Israel -- CBN News' Chris Mitchell, ICEJ President, Dr. Jurgen Buhler, and author/journalist Joel Rosenberg -- discussed the complex realities of the ongoing conflict in Israel, contrasting Israel's military actions aimed at protecting Palestinian civilians with Hamas's disregard for civilian safety. The discussion, held before a packed ballroom, was moderated by Billy Hallowell, a host and interviewer for Faithwire and CBN News.

The reporters' recount harrowing personal stories from the violence, emphasizing the brutal attacks on October 7 and the ensuing desperation of those trying to rescue loved ones amidst chaos. The speakers highlight the ideological battle, noting that Hamas's goals extend beyond territorial claims to a broader aim of subjugating non-Islamic nations, and express concern about the radicalization of youth in the West supporting such ideologies. They stress the importance of international cooperation for securing hostage releases, reflect on the emotional toll on Israeli families, and underscore a rising openness to faith discussions despite the ongoing strife. The conversation concludes with calls for sustained U.S. support for Israel, the critical need for prayer amidst uncertainty, and an acknowledgment of the profound spiritual impact the crisis has had on the Israeli populace, who are increasingly seeking spiritual solace during these tumultuous times. Dr. Jurgen Buhler spoke with us after the session (which we summarize after this interview video).

  • 00:00  The speakers discuss Israel's military actions and the contrasting behavior of Hamas during the ongoing conflict. They emphasize that Israel takes measures to protect Palestinian civilians, such as issuing warnings and sending leaflets before military operations, while Hamas actively places civilians in danger and disregards their safety. The speakers paint a stark picture of the atrocities committed by Hamas, describing horrific violence on October 7 that included indiscriminate killings and extreme brutality. They recall a story about a family forced to hide in a bomb shelter, emphasizing the inadequacies of these shelters against the actual threat posed by invading terrorists. Additionally, the speakers illustrate the desperation of loved ones attempting to rescue family members amidst the chaos.
  • 5:00  The speakers share intense personal accounts from the recent violence involving Hamas and Israelis, highlighting a couple who, while under threat, help others escape a dire situation and later find themselves in the midst of combat. They discuss the ideology behind the conflict, emphasizing that Hamas's goal is not merely about territory but a broader mission to subjugate non-Islamic nations. The conversation also touches upon the troubling response to the violence seen in Western college campuses, where pro-Palestinian sentiments echo support for Hamas, raising concerns about the radicalization of youth globally. The speakers stress the importance of Israel receiving unwavering support from the United States and advocate for a firm stance against negotiating with terrorists to prevent further emboldenment of extremist movements worldwide.
  • 10:00  The discussion centers around the urgency for Israel to negotiate the release of hostages taken by Hamas during the recent conflict, highlighting the collective pressure within Israel to bring all hostages home. Participants emphasize the need for coordinated international efforts, particularly through partnerships with the U.S., Egypt, and Qatar, to secure their release. They reflect on the complex situation stemming from the surprise attack on October 6, which undermined Israeli security and illustrates the tactical challenges posed by Hamas, including their extensive network of tunnels throughout Gaza. The conversation underscores both the humanitarian imperative to free those kidnapped and the strategic necessity of addressing the broader security concerns within the region.

  • 15:00  The speakers share their experience of visiting a site in Gaza where hostages were held, reflecting on the emotional impact of witnessing the conditions and the presence of evil as they prayed for the hostages' freedom. Joel Rosenberg recalls taking communion in a highly charged atmosphere of conflict, highlighting the surreal contrast between their faith and the ongoing violence surrounding them. The discussion pivots to the Western response to the current situation in Israel, with Dr. Buhler noting an initial wave of support from various political groups that later seems to wane under pressure from the Islamic world, leading to concerns about long-term support for Israel amidst calls for a ceasefire and a Palestinian state, while expressing skepticism about the effectiveness of the Palestinian Authority's governance.

  • 20:00  The discussion focuses on the emotional and spiritual toll of the ongoing conflict on Israeli families, particularly those with children serving in the military. Jurgen Buhler shares his concern for his two sons, one stationed in Gaza, and reflects on the shared experience of anxiety and fear faced by many Israeli families. He expresses the deep need for global support and prayer for the Jewish people and the Palestinian population suffering under Hamas. A story is shared about an encounter that brought peace to a mother worried for her son, bolstered by dreams of divine protection, highlighting the importance of faith and community support during such challenging times. The speaker emphasizes that prayer has played a critical role in their lives and the lives of soldiers, recounting miraculous moments of safety amidst danger, while calling for continued global prayer for Israel and its people.

  • 25:00  The discussion highlights the profound impact of the current conflict in Israel, describing it as the nation's darkest hour since 1948, with many believers actively supporting their country in various capacities. Individuals and families are struggling with uncertainty, yet there is a growing openness to conversations about faith and spirituality, especially around the figure of Jesus. Many efforts are underway to provide humanitarian aid and strengthen local churches, emphasizing the unusual spiritual openness among Israelis to consider faith in Jesus as the Messiah. The speakers call for prayer on multiple fronts, including the safety of soldiers, the return of hostages, and the spiritual well-being of countless Israelis who are grappling with existential fears. They also stress the importance of U.S. support for Israel in the context of the current political landscape and the moral imperative of blessing Israel as outlined in biblical texts.

  • 30:00  The discussion highlights ongoing political tensions and the significant decisions Israel faces regarding the situation in Rafa and potential conflicts in the northern regions, particularly concerning the Iranian nuclear threat. The importance of vigilance, likened to the "Watchman on the wall" from Isaiah 62, is emphasized, urging that prayer and support for Jerusalem should continue until it becomes a source of praise throughout the world. The panelists' insights underline the urgency and complexity of the geopolitical landscape, concluding with applause for their contributions.

Propaganda Then and Now: Lessons From Nazi Germany to Today’s Anti-Israel Narratives

On this Holocaust Remembrance Day, marking the 80th anniversary of the liberation of Auschwitz, it’s worth reflecting on a disturbing pattern: how propaganda has been used to vilify Jews in different eras. The lessons we thought we learned from World War II—about the dangers of hateful narratives—seem to be fading. Today, some of the same tactics used by the Nazis are being deployed by groups like Hamas and their supporters to turn public opinion against Israel, with worrying consequences.

A copy Adolf Hitler’s sick autobiography, “Mein Kampf,” was found inside a child’s bedroom at a Hamas base in the
Gaza Strip, Israeli authorities said. The copy of the Nazi leader’s 1925 autobiography outlining his deadly journey into antisemitism and the genocide of millions of Jews and other ethnic minorities during the Holocaust included “annotations and highlights,”
The book was discovered among the personal belongs of one of the terrorists,” the IDF said in the online post. “Hamas embraces the ideology of Hitler, the one responsible for the annihilation of the Jewish People.” - NY Post 11/12/23

What Happened in Nazi Germany

The Nazis used propaganda to convince Germans that Jews were the root of society’s problems. Newspapers, posters, and films portrayed Jewish people as subhuman and dangerous, blaming them for economic woes and cultural decay. These messages played on centuries-old prejudices in Europe, where anti-Semitic stereotypes had taken root in Christian doctrine and culture. The propaganda worked. Ordinary Germans accepted these lies, enabling the persecution and eventual genocide of six million Jews.

How It’s Happening Again

Fast forward to today, and we see a similar playbook being used by Hamas and its allies, including Qatar. Through modern media and social networks, they spread the message that Israel is an oppressor, responsible for all Palestinian suffering. Casualty figures from the Gaza Ministry of Health—controlled by Hamas—are often inflated or misleading, but they’re repeated by Western media without much scrutiny. Staged events and manipulated images also flood the internet, painting Israel as a brutal aggressor.

Phrases like “From the river to the sea, Palestine will be free” or “Free Palestine” have become rallying cries in protests worldwide. But few stop to question the implications—these slogans call for the elimination of Israel. Meanwhile, Israel’s side of the story, including its right to defend itself against rocket attacks and terrorism, is often ignored.

Why It Matters

Just as Nazi propaganda dehumanized Jews to justify their persecution, today’s anti-Israel narratives have made it acceptable to vilify and scapegoat Jewish people once again. In cities across the West, we’ve seen people tearing down posters of kidnapped Israelis, vandalizing Jewish schools and synagogues, and chanting slogans that call for Israel’s destruction.

This isn’t just about spreading lies and hatred; it’s about how those lies pave the way for authoritarian tyranny. The Islamo-Marxist scapegoating of the Jewish state echoes Nazi tactics: using propaganda to consolidate power by uniting people against a common enemy. In Nazi Germany, this propaganda enabled National Socialists to dominate Europe, suppress dissent, and commit atrocities not only against Jews but against all who opposed their rule. Today, Hamas and its allies exploit similar methods to justify their authoritarian agendas and silence diverse voices within their societies.

The Bigger Picture

What’s most alarming is how easily the media and the public have bought into this propaganda. On this solemn day of remembrance, we should ask ourselves: Have we really learned the lessons of the Holocaust? The Nazis taught the world that scapegoating Jews isn’t just dangerous for them—it’s a tool for tyranny that harms everyone. If we fail to recognize and challenge these tactics, we risk enabling the rise of new authoritarian movements that use hatred and division to manipulate society under absolute power.

Ben Shapiro shines light of reason at still IslamoMarxist tainted, U.C.L.A. - courtesy of Young America's Foundation

Graduate Students for Justice in Palestine held a demonstration at UCLA on Monday 21 October, the day that Young America's Foundation brought Daily Wire's Ben Shapiro to give
an evening speech to the campus community.

KABC TV News reports that there were several tents set up near Powell Library, and there were also banners with slogans that read "Stop arming Israel" and "Resistance is Justified." Campus police say that in addition to the unauthorized structures, the group was also using loud speakers- which is against campus policy.

The demonstration brings out concerns about the potential for biased narratives surrounding the Israel-Palestine conflict. Such protests often simplify complex geopolitical issues and overlook the role of Islamic militant groups in perpetuating violence. The emphasis on solidarity with Palestine can be seen as one-sided, potentially alienating students who support Israel and diminishing the call for balanced discourse on campus.

Additionally, the protest is as an example of how academic institutions may prioritize activism over rigorous scholarship, raising questions about the impact on campus culture and the pursuit of objective truth.

UCLA alumnus, Ben Shapiro, addressed a packed audience under high-security, necessitated by the IslaMarxist activists who impeded a scheduled Y.A.F. talk last semester by conservative writer, Robert Spencer.

Mr. Shapiro, when asked by a student what UCLA administration ought do with the Sukkah-pretense encampers, instantly replied to expel them.

Here is the video from inside the auditorium- livestreamed by Young America's Foundation (without captions). The security apparatus to enter was more stringent as a sporting event.

Save the West's Ken Abramowitz clarifies the nefarious movements questing over the West - for university students at RJC

23-years after the Sept 11th '01 Jihadist Attacks, Mr. Abramowitz teaches university students about the political movements challenging Western democracies in order to defend against them.

Addressing the Alpha Epsilon Pi fraternity forum at the Republican Jewish Coalition's RJC Summit on September 6th, Kenneth Abramowitz, founder of the educational Save the West, explains to the university students of the forces spreading totalitarianism using Democrat government and media-abetted anti-Israelism.
Mr. Abamowitz discusses the current state of the world and the ongoing war between "the Yellows" (representing Western Civilization and its values, such as the rule of law and secularism) - and "the Reds" (Communists, globalists, and other authoritarian regimes). A second and third threat are "the Greens" (Iran, Turkey, and countries financing the Muslim Brotherhood) and "the Blues" (the United Nations and globalist organizations e.g., the World Economic Forum, the Cartels, and the big-tech / social-media companies) as enemies of the Yellows. He warns that they are declaring war on the Yellows.

Ken argues that anti-Semitism is a significant issue because it is a way for these enemies to destroy Western Civilization. He advocates for criminalizing anti-Semitism as a means of combating and deterring these forces. He also believes that anyone who supports a Palestinian State at this stage be considered unfairly against Israel. Time ran out before he could elaborate further.

Mr. Abramowitz is a well-travelled, well-respected analyst in international affairs.

In this exclusive video interview at the R.J.C. Summit, the Save the West leader identifies the primary threats to liberty as the Reds (Communists), Greens (Islamists), and Blues (globalists), who each aim to defeat Israel and Western Civilization.

Kenneth Abramowitz of Save the West at R.J.C. Summit
He believes that conflicts, including those in the Middle East, are interconnected and that America and European nations are not doing enough to support Israel.

Mr. Abramowitz criticizes past elections, specifically the 2020 election, for having "voting and tabulation irregularities" and expresses a lack of confidence in the tabulation integrity. He calls for Americans to prevent election theft by showing up in large numbers - and for the need to help allies like Canada and England do the same to save democracy.

He also expresses concern over the state of democracies in America and England, which he believes are being taken over by these forces and could lead to the last election if the Republicans do not regain dominance in American government policy.

At the beginning of the interview Ken outlines the main threats to freedom and the means to counter them. He contends that Americans often overlook the global interconnectedness of issues and views the Israeli-Palestinian conflicts as part of a broader scheme. He attributes these and other conflicts to three malevolent forces: the Reds (Communists), the Greens (Islamists), and the Blues (globalists), who aim to undermine Israel and Western Civilization, seen as the bastion of democracy and law. He criticizes the insufficient support from the US and European countries to Israel's defense of civilization and accuses the UK and the Democratic Administration of being compromised by these groups. Five minutes into the video, Ken voices his concerns about the state of democracies in America and England, which he perceives as being compromised by malevolent forces. He points out "voting and tabulation irregularities" in past elections, particularly the 2020 election, which he believes have gone unaddressed. Doubting the integrity of vote counting, he echoes Trump's assertion that a 60% vote is necessary to avert election fraud.

He implies that open borders are a tactic to enable illegal immigrant voting and warns that the upcoming election could be jeopardized if the Democrats, whom he labels as "Reds, Greens, and Blues," stay in power. He urges Americans to vote in large numbers to safeguard the election and stresses the importance of supporting allies like Canada and England in preserving democracy.

Al-Jazeera disrupter, Dr. Mordechai Kedar professes how Israel surviving 70-years must be miraculous

On the eve of Israel's 70th Independence Day, Dr. Mordechai Kedar, who teaches Arab Studies at Israel's Bar Ilan University, addressed a gathering in Los Angeles on the theme: "Why Israel's thriving for 70-years must be through miracles."  Dr. Kedar spoke about how Israel, a nation made up of Jews, Christians, and Muslims from many countries, has established a single, national identity despite its tribal affinities and antagonism from the surrounding Muslim countries, which many of its residents have been emigrated from.

Dr. Mordechai Kedar reveals about how Islam and Muslims regard Christians and Jews. He discusses what moving the American embassy to Jerusalem represents to the Muslim world.

Trump resets US relations with Israel, seeking broader alliance against Islamist Iran, terror

Transcript And Analysis: Trump And Netanyahu Hold Joint Press Conference

President Trump is hosting Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu at the White House on Wednesday. The two held a joint press conference amid differing messages emanating from the Trump administration about its stance on the two-state solution in the Israeli-Palestinian peace process. NPR journalists with expertise in politics, national security and the Middle East have annotated a transcript of their remarks.

Premier Netanayhu in joint press conference with Pres. Trump
President DONALD TRUMP: Thank you! Today, I have the honor of welcoming my friend, Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, to the White House. With his visit, the United States again reaffirms our unbreakable bond with our cherished ally, Israel.

The partnership between our two countries, built on our shared values, has advanced the cause of human freedom, dignity and peace. These are the building blocks of democracy. The state of Israel is a symbol to the world of resilience in the face of oppression. I can think of no other state that's gone through what they've gone, and of survival in the face of genocide. We will never forget what the Jewish people have endured.

Your perseverance in the face of hostility, your open democracy in the face of violence, and your success in the face of tall odds is truly inspirational. The security challenges faced by Israel are enormous, including the threat of Iran's nuclear ambitions, which I've talked a lot about. One of the worst deals I've ever seen is the Iran deal.

My administration has already imposed new sanctions on Iran, and I will do more to prevent Iran from ever developing — I mean ever — a nuclear weapon. Our security assistance to Israel is currently at an all-time high, ensuring that Israel has the ability to defend itself from threats, of which there are unfortunately many.

Both of our countries will continue and grow. We have a long history of cooperation in the fight against terrorism and the fight against those who do not value human life. America and Israel are two nations that cherish the value of all human life.

This is one more reason why we reject unfair and one-sided actions against Israel at the United Nations, which has treated Israel in my opinion very, very unfairly, or other international forums, as well as boycotts that target Israel.

Bibi addresses press conf. with Pres. Trump (Photo: Matzav.com)
Israeli Premier BENJAMIN NETANYAHU:

President Trump, thank you for the truly warm hospitality. You and Melania have shown me, my wife Sara, our entire delegation. I deeply value your friendship. To me, to the state Israel, it was so clearly evident in the words you just spoke, Israel has no better ally than the United States. And I want to assure you, the United States has no better ally than Israel.

Our alliance has been remarkably strong, but under your leadership, I'm confident it will get even stronger. I look forward to working with you to dramatically upgrade our alliance in every field, in security and technology and cyber and trade and so many others, and I certainly welcome your forthright call to ensure that Israel is treated fairly in international forums and that the slander and boycotts of Israel are resisted mightily by the power and moral position of the United States of America.

As you have said, our lives are based on a deep bond of common values and common interest. And increasingly, those values and interests are under attack by one malevolent force, radical Islamic terror. Mr. President, you've shown great clarity and courage in confronting this challenge head on. You call for confronting Iran's terrorist regime, preventing Iran from realizing this terrible deal into a nuclear arsenal, and you have said that the United States is committed to preventing Iran from getting nuclear weapons. You call for the defeat of ISIS.

Under your leadership, I believe we can reverse the rising tide of radical Islam, and in this great task, as in so many others, Israel stands with you and I stand with you. Mr. President, in rolling back militant Islam, we can seize an historic opportunity because for the first time in my lifetime and for the first time in the life of my country, Arab countries in the region do not see Israel as an enemy, but increasingly as an ally.

DEBKAfile reports: Trump reacted positively to Netanyahu’s proposal to broaden the Israeli-Palestinian peace process to a regional effort as a “very important” new idea “on a broader canvas” which he believed could succeed. Netanyahu said that the regional fears of Iran also presented an opportunity for cooperation against the Islamic State and radical Islamic terror.

broader Middle East peace arrangement

These sentiments reflected agreement in principle between Trump and Netanyahu to seek an Israeli peace accord with Saudi Arabia and the Gulf emirates as the lead-in to negotiations for an accord with the Palestinians. Egypt, Jordan and Turkey with whom Israel already has normal relations would jump in later. This deal fits in with the US plan reported more than once on these pages for a regional peace between the Sunni Arab nations and the Jewish State.

Some of the spadework may have been performed by CIA Director Mike Pompeo who paid a secret visit to Ramallah Wednesday morning for talks with Mahmoud Abbas, after trips to Ankara and Riyadh, following which Turkey upgraded its diplomatic mission in Israel

This plan was the fulcrum for the president to push back against the two-state solution advocated by the Obama administration as the cure for the conflict. It remains to be seen if this plan takes on life outside the White House and in the region’s capitals.

Trump realistically called on Israel to “hold back settlements,” show flexibility and make compromises for a peace deal. He urged the Palestinians to “get rid of hate starting in the schoolroom.” Whatever the Israelis and Palestinians agree to in direct talks - one state or two – “I will accept,” he said, adding, “I believe we will have a deal that is better than many Israelis think.”

Israeli Amb. Michael Oren "Ally" book tour video - revealing the secrets behind the spin

Former Israeli Amb. to US Michael Oren at Nixon Library July 2, '15
In his revealing auto-biography, "Ally: My Journey Across the American-Israeli Divide," American-born Michael Oren discusses his experience becoming appointed by Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu to work with the Obama administration as Israel's ambassador to the U.S.

Recorded before an audience at L.A.'s Museum of Tolerance, in a speech and conversation with David Suissa of the Jewish Journal of Los Angeles. July 1, 2015.

Above, Amb. Oren fields a broad range of questions from the audience (in two segments).

David Bernstein in the Washington Post refers to "How Israel Got Taken" a review of the book by Michael Doran in Mosaic Magazine. Doran claims that "Netanyahu undertook, at American insistence, an unprecedented settlement freeze, became the first Likud prime minister to endorse the establishment of a Palestinian state, and refrained from engaging in military action against Iran. He might have added that Netanyahu released hundreds of terrorist murderers to further John Kerry’s misbegotten “peace process.” While Netanyahu hasn’t always behaved well, even when he did the White House’s bidding he was met solely with contempt, more contempt than the Obama Administration has shown for any other foreign leader. That would be okay, if one really trusted Obama on the one issue key to Israeli security (and, in my opinion, key to the security of the entire Middle East and therefore to American security), preventing Iran from getting nuclear weapons."

"The Whistle-Blower Who Freed Dreyfus"- died 100 years ago today- from Robert Harris in The N.Y. Times

Unlike his 21st-century counterparts Bradley Manning and Edward Snowden, Picquart was neither a disaffected nor a junior figure in the organization he was to expose. On the contrary: In October 1894 he was a brilliant, rising army officer. One of his steppingstones to advancement had been a professorship at the École Supérieure de Guerre, and one of the officer-cadets he had taught there was a Jewish artillery captain, Alfred Dreyfus.

KINTBURY, England — Georges Picquart died 100 years ago this Saturday. To which the response from most quarters is likely to be “Georges who?” Even in his native France, his centenary is passing largely unremarked. Yet in the days of Queen Victoria and Theodore Roosevelt, Picquart was a figure of global controversy, revered and reviled in equal measure as the world’s most famous whistle-blower.
Picquart, like many of his contemporaries, was casually anti-Semitic. It came as no surprise to him when Dreyfus — the only Jew on the general staff — was suspected of passing secret intelligence to the Germans. It was Picquart who provided a sample of Dreyfus’s handwriting to the investigators. And when expert analysis seemed to confirm Dreyfus’s guilt, it was Picquart who met his unsuspecting former pupil in the Ministry of War so he could be quietly bundled off to prison.

With photo-ops with Netanyahu in the album, Obama denies ally Israel's reasoned requests vis a vis Iran sanctions, ceding strategic land to Palestine, Russia / Syria WMD

Updated: Amos Harel in Ha'aretz || Analysis Oct 9th: When it comes to Iran, Israel is walking a fine line in Washington

Lobbying Congress for tougher sanctions against Iran risks incurring Obama Administration’s wrath.
Israel is conducting a diplomatic campaign aimed at blunting the success of the so-called charm offensive led by Iranian President Hassan Rohani during his visit to the United Nations last month. After the Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s aggressive speeches, Defense Minister Moshe Ya’alon, who is now in the United States, is focused on persuading the Americans not to allow any relaxation of the sanctions on Iran before Tehran signs a binding agreement that will slam the brakes on its nuclear program. In the background, Israel is canvassing Congress with a more ambitious goal in mind – intensifying the sanctions, a move that could lead to a confrontation with the Obama administration, which opposes doing so at this stage.   . . .
Jerusalem now realizes, perhaps more than at earlier stages, the full ramifications of conducting an independent military strike on Iran against the will of the United States. A former senior defense official, who played a major role in recent years in the relations between the two countries, told Haaretz this week that an Israeli strike after an agreement is reached between Iran and the world powers and against the latter’s will, on grounds that the compromise reached was insufficient, could be likened to “an act of strategic suicide.”
'Don't say I didn't warn you' || Ahead of Iran talks, Netanyahu tries to convince Europe not to ease sanctions by Barak Ravid in Ha'aretz Oct 10 21:04
In a series of press interviews, Netanyahu urges European countries to stop Iran’s race for a nuclear bomb while it’s still possible; insists Israel is not isolated.
On Thursday, Netanyahu gave interviews to several leading media outlets in the three European powers participating in the talks – France, Britain and Germany. The other members of the P5+1 are the United States, Russia and China. In Britain, he spoke to the Financial Times and the Sky television network, in France to Le Monde and the France 24 network, and in Germany to Frankfurter Allgemeine and the ARD network.
A press statement issued by the Prime Minister’s Office said that in these interviews, Netanyahu urged European countries to stop Iran’s race for a nuclear bomb while it’s still possible.
“The [Iranian] regime is currently smiling and saying, ‘You know what? Let me continue enriching uranium, let me keep my plutonium plants, and I’ll give you tactical concessions, cosmetic concessions, and you’ll ease the sanctions,’” the Hebrew-language statement said, summarizing Netanyahu’s message.
“But if the sanctions are eased, the sanctions will collapse. They’ll get everything they want, and we, collectively, won’t get anything. Don’t say I didn’t warn you. The Jewish people has been around for 4,000 years. They tried to destroy us over and over, but they didn’t succeed, and we also won’t let people like the ayatollahs succeed. It’s important to stress that this isn’t just an Israeli issue; this issue also affects you.”
In an exclusive interview with France 24, Netanyahu urged France to take a tough stance on Iran and look past Prime Minister Hassan Rohani’s “smile campaign.”
“I don’t have any problem telling the truth even if it’s not popular. It so happens that I’m not isolated - Israel is not isolated,” Netanyahu said.
“Just about every country in the Arab world agrees with our position; some say so openly, some say that less openly. There’s one country who doesn’t agree with us: Syria’s Assad, of course, because he supports Iran’s regime that continues to help him in the mass murder of women and children.”

Netanyahu addresses U.N. General Assembly; Decries Iran's Rouhani as 'wolf in sheep's clothing'

You see, Rouhani thinks he can have his yellowcake and eat it too!  . . . But I will never compromise on the security of my people and of my country of the one and only Jewish state."

Remarks by Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu During General Debate of the 68th Session of the United Nations General Assembly, October 1, 2013

"I feel deeply honored and privileged to stand here before you today representing the citizens of the State of Israel.

We are an ancient people. We date back nearly 4,000 years to Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob. We have journeyed through time, we've overcome the greatest of adversities, And we reestablished our sovereign state in our ancestral homeland, the Land of Israel.

The Jewish people's odyssey through time has taught us two things: Never give up hope. Always remain vigilant.  Hope charts the future. Vigilance protects it.

Today, our hope for the future is challenged by a nuclear-armed Iran that seeks our destruction. But I want you to know: that wasn't always the case. Some 2500 years ago, the great Persian King Cyrus ended the Babylonian exile of the Jewish people. He issued a famous edict in which he proclaimed the right of the Jews to return to the Land of Israel and rebuild the Jewish Temple in Jerusalem. That's a Persian decree, and thus began an historic friendship between the Jews and the Persians that lasted until modern times.

But in 1979, a radical regime in Tehran tried to stamp out that friendship. As it was busy crushing the Iranian people's hopes for democracy, it also led wild chants of "Death to the Jews!" Now, since that time, Presidents of Iran have come and gone. Some presidents were considered moderates, others hardliners. But they've all served that same unforgiving creed, that same unforgetting regime – that creed that is espoused and enforced by the real power in Iran, the dictator known in Iran as the Supreme Leader, first Ayatollah Khomeini and now Ayatollah Khamenei. President Rouhani, like the presidents who came before him is a loyal servant of the regime. He was one of only six candidates the regime permitted to run for office. Nearly 700 other candidates were rejected.  So what made him acceptable?
