Obama's real record on Israel by Anne Bayefsky Oct 23, 2012 in FoxNews.com Anne Bayefsky is director of the Touro Institute on Human Rights and the Holocaust.
The question before American voters, who value our special bond with the Middle East’s only democracy, is whether the specifics of the president’s four-year record are consistent with the well-being of the people who live and breathe Jewish self-determination as a bulwark against modern anti-semitism.
Just a partial rap-sheet speaks for itself:
- President Obama has never visited Israel during his time in office, despite having been as close as thirty minutes away in Egypt, and managing to go to Saudi Arabia, Turkey and Iraq
- President Obama told Jewish leaders in July 2009 that he was deliberately adopting a policy of putting daylight between America and Israel. Read More:
Before the candidates' debate rhetoric erased everyone's memory, during the Obama first-term, DemoCast chronicled a foreboding of the American-Israel relationship under Obama.

Israel exists because of four key items:
ReplyDelete1) The Balfour Declaration, under the British mandate of 1917
2) The San Remo conference and declarations of 1920
3) The League of Nations Resolution of 1922
4) UN resolution of 1947.
JORDAN was negotiated as the 2nd state as part of a "Two State Solution" regarding the Palestinian question.
Under international law, these declarations, accords and resolutions carry FULL legal weight and force of law today.
However, these are not being functionally recognized, with examples cited by Obama to return to "pre-1967 borders with agreed swaps."
That is like saying, "I am going to take your home away from you, but you can keep your dog house from the yard."
This is pure nonsense and insulting at the least. The "pre-1967 borders" are the result of encroachment from attacks from Jordan immediately following Israel's declaration as an independent state on May 14, 1948.
Since that time, Israel has also had to face off with Egypt and Syria, and with hostile factions operating inside of Lebanon.
As if this was not enough, unrelenting terrorist acts have been ongoing against Israel almost daily with rocket attacks, weapons being smuggled into Gaza through tunnel systems not unlike the Ho Chi Min Trail in Vietnam in the 70's, and recently, drones deployed from Iran that have made incursions into Israeli airspace.
The bottom line is simple: destroy Israel by any mans possible, and set up an Arab/Islamic state.
Until the USA, the UN and the rest of the world stand up to the test of International Law, this nonsense will continue indefinitely.
In so doing, America is contribution to the destabilization and destruction of Israel by both attrition, and withholding due support that has been Israel's right from the beginning!
Fact check it for yourself people, and KNOW the truth to set the Israeli people free!
